Nice bar, even late at night there was still live music and - fitting to the bar - nice Charlottenburg audience. Long drinks could have been much better ☝️ Card perforation is not a problem.

This is a nice place near the theatres. Theatre des West end and Vaganten. Not too expensive. And the cocktails are well-made and strong. Atmospheric themed decor for Serge Gainsbourg. The music wasn't as themed. Piano in the corner!

This bedrock actually always fits. Nice live music, super nice service. A small drawback is the cigarette smoke, but you can adjust to that.

You can smoke indoors. And if you don't smoke, it's a pain. Otherwise cozy place.

This bar is located near our hotel. Under the sbahn track they have creatively filled in the arches. This bar was very appealing. We walked in and took a seat at the bar. It soon became a lively evening. 5 euros for half a liter of lager is a fair price in a tent like this. Be warned that there is still smoking inside.

The Gainsbourg is not only for smokers a perfect place to enjoy good music, nice guests and great drinks at reasonable prices. Frequent life performances complete perfectly and if you want to continue talking, you will find enough space to withdraw a little.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Good cocktails want to be well paid. Pleasant, mixed crowd of all ages. Will be a "must" for me every Berlin trip.

Good for smokers... Not so good for noon smokers like me

One of the best Nightbars in Charlottenburg, with good drinks and cocktails. Since the old owner, Friedo, is back, there is also almost always a good selection of music...Rock and Jazz and Chansons from the 60ties, 70ties and 80ties.... Thursdays, there is Live-Music from a french Piano player, who sings french Chansons...very heartful...:-) Nice ambience and one of the rare smoking bars, still left over in Berlin. Definatly a place to be...:-)

Strange people, but all drunk!

Visited on last night of trip. Excellent atmosphere with a good selection of drinks.

The drinks are very good, but also expensive. For us it is an advantage that also in the bar can be smoked. Unfortunately you do not feel like a king as a guest. We had ordered the same drink three times, but it was completely different than before. Since the recipes with the bartenders do not seem to be clear. That's a pity. But the Moscow mule would already be presented in a special way. Would the service also fit the outfit of the service would be five stars in it.

Nice atmosphere but expensive for Berlin

If you're a chimney or a chain smoker, great Otherwise, you'll have to deep clean your jacket to get the stench of smoke out. Absolutely no ventilation.

Best bar I visited while in Berlin. Top notch everything. The bartenders are very handsome as well.

DO NOT GO HERE visited this bar with my friends and have never been treated so rudely in my life. We were told by the bar man (Denis) that we were only allowed to order certain drinks and the drinks we were allowed were highly over priced (12 euros for a vodka mixer). I asked for a beer and my friends ordered cokes. In response to our order Denis rudely told us that 'this is not kindergarten and if we're not going to drink alcohol then we must leave'. After asking why we weren't allowed to order these drinks he began shouting and swearing at us shouting 'ladies ladies get out'. Awful bar, terrible atmosphere, rude staff, ridiculously overpriced drinks and full of smoke.

Went here a couple of times for drinks, staff very helpful and friendly enjoyed the atmosphere.

Went with the girlfriend for a few drinks. Ambience was fantastic and service was excellent. We visited many bars and this one is the best by miles.
